I’m a London-based journalist originally from Perth, Western Australia, currently the staff writer for WI Life, the members’ magazine for the Women’s Institute. My work can also be found in the Havering Resident, an Essex luxury lifestyle magazine, and several  trade and industry titles published by Compelo, where I covered a wide range of topics including business, the cruise industry, hotel management, healthcare and architecture. I also spent time at Journeys travel magazine (now defunct) as an editorial assistant from 2014-2016.

My latest blogging project stems from a newfound love of comic books. Through in-depth reviews and how-to posts, I’m tracking my journey as I learn about this complicated, fascinating world – its characters, its creators, its endemic struggles and its power to inspire. I’m aiming to build a portfolio of pop-culture writing and create a resource to guide other new comics fans.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Australia, where I majored in linguistics, as well as a diploma in journalism from the London School of Journalism. With a background in digital content writing, I can turn my hand to any writing style, but my passion lies in writing in-depth features to bring a little-known subject to life.

I’m currently available for freelance work, especially related to comics and pop culture. If you’d like to learn more or you’re interested in working with me, please visit my contact page.
